GREECE GRATEFUL TO ALLIES

Venizelos Sends Thanks for Fruitful Help in Macedonia.

PARIS, Oct. 5.—Premier Venizelos of Greece has telegraphed to Premier Clemenceau expressing the admiration and gratitude of Greece for the help given by the French in the recent fighting in Macedonia. The sacrifices made by the allied soldiers, he added, attested the solidarity of the great and small nations, all hungering for liberty, which is the precious pledge of the future peace.
In reply M. Clemenceau said that he thanked regenerated and reconstituted Greece for aiding in the fine victory in the east, and that the allied victory marked the beginning of an era of justice.
