ЛОНДОН. Лис. 1. – Ноел Бакстон, М. П. Шеф на Балканскиот Комитет, му пишал на Министерот за Надворешни Лендсдаун со посока за колежот од Турските единици во Македонското село Конопница, предлагајќи засилување на Европскиот надглед над Македонија ако е потребно со помош и на морнаричка демонстрација.
Лордот Лендсдаун возвратил со укажување дека Владата веќе ја истражува случката со разгледување дипломатски протест до Портата, и додава дека имаат сознание дека Турските власти испратиле комисија на местото, чиј што извештај се очекува.  …“

England Investigating Latest Massacre
with View to Action.
LONDON. Oct. 1.—Noel Buxton, M. P..
Chairman of the Balkan Committee,
wrote to Foreign Minister Lansdowne
with reference to the massacre by Turk-
ish troops in the Macedonian village of
Konopnitza, suggesting the enforcement
of European control of Macedonia if
necessary by the aid of a naval demon-
stration.
Lord Lansdowne has replied to the ef- 1
feet that the Government is already in-
vestigating the incident with a view to
diplomatic representations to the Porte,
and adds that he has ascertained that the
Turkish authorities have sent a commis-
sion to the scene, the report of which is
awaited.
