МАКЕДОНСКИТЕ БЕЖАНЦИ.
Општината во Варна изгласала 20,000f. за помош за бежанците кои гладуваат.
Сите класи (од општеството н.з.) вклучувајќи многу жители кои се странци прилагале изобилно за помош на бежанците со исклучок на Грците и Ерменците, од кои повеќето биле имашни. Тоа се должело на постоењето на политичкиот анимозитет. Се оправдувале поради постраданите од сопствената националност на кои исто така им требала добротворна помош.
Сепак се вели дека Ерменците изгледа забораваат дека многу илјади од нивниот народ биле склонети и помогнати во Бугарија пред 7 години.

LONDON, Oct. 19.—A correspondent of
The Times, wiring from Burgas, says
the municipality of Varna has voted
20,000f. for the relief of the starving ref-
ugees, of whom many thousands are in
the neighborhood.
All classes, including many resident
foreigners, are contributing liberally for
the relief of the refugees with the excep-
tion of the Greeks and Armenians, who
for the most part are wealthy. The cor-
respondent says allowance must be made
for the former on account of their polit-
ical animosities, while the numerous suf-
ferers of their own pattonality naturally
possess a prior claim on their benevo-
lence. The Armenians appear to have
forgotten that many thousands of their
race w*ere sheltered and maintained in
Bulgaria seven years ago.
